Documents you need

- Photocopy of the proprietor's or partners' citizenship certificate
- Partnership deed (if a partnership)

Important notes
- No official source found during research states which office registers cottage and small industries in each province or local level in FY 2083/84; ask your municipality or the provincial Cottage and Small Industry Office.
- Biratnagar's FY 2083/84 Finance Act charges a recommendation fee for industry registration. This suggests that, at least there, another office does the actual registration (inferred).
- Industries need local business registration and PAN as well.
