06 · Read carefully

Important notes

  • Plot division is among the services the ministry planned to hand to pilot local levels from Shrawan 2083.
  • Each Survey Office has its own website (Survey Department list). Survey Office Morang has posted a citizen charter (नागरिक वडापत्र बिराटनगर) dated 27 Chaitra 2082, but its content could not be read online (probably an image) — check your office's website or ask at the counter.
  • Madhesh's Finance Act 2083 lists no plot-division fee in the text read.
  • Current plotting restrictions could not be verified from official sources. An unofficial pre-budget report (PriceNepal, May 2026, no document cited) says plotting bans were replaced by local zoning and farmland cannot be split into housing plots until rezoned by the local land-use council — unconfirmed.
  • Step order is indicative: no current citizen charter for this service could be retrieved — confirm at the office.
