Important notes

  • For a building permit, the trace map must be certified by a surveyor and issued within the last 3 months; it can come from the municipality's survey section (Basobaas guide).
  • Kathmandu Metropolitan City's e-BPS reference page links to a Mero Kitta application form and a video guide next to its building-permit documents, which suggests plot documents can be requested online — which services the form covers was not confirmed.
  • Survey map services are among those planned to move to pilot local levels from Shrawan 2083.
  • Survey Office Morang's citizen charter (dated 27 Chaitra 2082) is posted online but could not be read; other offices' charters were not found.
  • Step order is indicative: no current citizen charter for this service could be retrieved — confirm at the office.
